Always amazed at the power of the H.A.M.B.:)
And then the post about cars that inspired you....

Well I will throw this out...
First Hot Rod I was ever around, it was unique then and would imagine it is still the same today if around?
    What I remember from the
    Late 60's / Early 70's
    Tall T
Big Hemi right out in the open.
Stainless Steel flat dash. Single Row of guages and a single row of toggle switches.
Last time I saw it 1985 had the dash covered in dash plaques.
    Any one seen it lately?

  2. I have not seen it lately but I remember it well, George the guy who owned it back then died of throat cancer in about 85. That thing looked so bad but the Hemi was a real dog. He would drive that thing everywhere he hung out with a group club Unassociated I still see a few of the old members from time to time, so I will ask about the car.
On a side note just trying to figure out if I know you, If I remember right you were a friend or coworker of Carlos Polido before he died right.

Once again the power of the HAMB.
It was George who owned it. Big Tall guy, owned or worked at a tire shop in Oildale.

And Yep I know Carlos... didn't know he died..:(
