    I have seen a pic somewhere where that thing is sitting in a wrecking yard rotting away. Surely there can't be two of them.

    I bought a 85 chevy short bus with Lift in it.Which i will built into a RV to hall my 64SS with. I'll try and get some pics.

    Only partially correct. The term "motorhome" came around about that time, but the "house car" concept actually goes back to the teens.

    would be a Flxible Clipper, on a custom-built
    chassis, with full air-ride, polished 22.5 Alcoas
    and an ex-'Navy minesweeper spec'. aluminum
    block, heads and non-magnetic crank and
    rods' 6V53T Detroit - but cranked to about 400 hp
    and hooked to a 7-speed Allison automatic!!!

    not just the term, it's when they started producing them, like I said conversions should be cool which is what you will mainly find in HAMB friendly years, buses or truck conversions but not actual motorhomes

    either way folks have posted some cool stuff, carry on
