Does Jesse own that? If so, man he is selling everything.

PS, I predict this thread will have a very short half life.

Weird... I thought about that car a few hours ago when I was reading one of the older threads about those guys vs Barris in the realm of autograph signing...

That car is pretty one-of-a-kind in my opinion, and will probably bring a ton of money..... Whether you like it or not, those old hands all working together on it was pretty bad-assed....

Didn't Jesse himself post on here that he would "go to his grave" in this car? I know sometimes "shit happens"....hope it ends up in some good hands. I'd bid my left nut for it. What does that translate to in auction $'s?

I think that is a pretty nice rice. I remember the episode. What is Jesse's avatar anyways?

Yeah i thought JJ said he would never let it go too.
Must have a good reason i guess.
Only thing i dont like about the car is the lack of a front bumper.

Too bad that absolute wanker owned it, the thing was built by some of our true greats!! I would love to have it for that fact alone, but to be associated with JJ NO THANKS!!

Is Jesse still an active member here...???

I was never really a fan of the guy's work... (He's talented as fuck², but most of what I saw just wasn't my style... He made a lot of bikes that looked like retarded grasshoppers to me... Then again, that sort of thing happens to me a lot... I guess it just comes down to personal taste, and mine differs from a lot of other peoples')...

I never really got the whole 'celebrity' thing I guess... He's just a dude selling a car... And, there's a 0.12% chance he'll read this thread.... Shit, on that note, there's a 0.0074% chance that he will remember me calling some of his bikes 'retarded grasshoppers'... Does that make me famous by proxy...???

Who cares why he's selling it...??? I'll give some speculated examples just to bust some of my local friends' balls here.... When Clark (SoWhat) sold his bitchin RPU, none of us asked him if it was to raise money for that sex change operation he was always talking about.... When Jr (FatABone) sold "Mr. Yuck", no one asked him if he was selling it to raise money to get Scarry Larry and the rest of "Cry Tough" to play at his summer party... When "Spike" sold his beloved sedan, we didn't pry... We all assumed that he sold it to pay off the legal fees from his out of court settlement involving photography for Gary Glitter and that pee-wee soccer team from the Phillipines....

If the guy decides to tell all of us random strangers why he is selling his car, it will probably happen in this thread....

If not,, who really cares... Someone out there has the opportunity to spend a mega-shitload of money on a modern piece of old-school hotrodding history....

Hey, it's all or nothing at this point... His bald head needs something on there in the form of 'hair'... My vote is for some Shirley Temple locks made from corn silk....

That, or a poorly draped skin mask and scavenged 'lady suit' on a dancing Clark, as the 'Goodbye Horses" song from "Silence of the Lambs" plays in the background...

I'll let your imagination take care of the rest...

    (Sorry, Clark) :D

But yeah, back to the topic at hand... I think that cars are good... Older cars are more good-er-est than newer cars..... It's science...

Geez, I like it. Even better knowing all those heavy hitters built it!

  21. Wow, and he said he was gonna take it to his grave. Awesome chevy.

I dig the car, and think its even better because of the greats that created it.

Would love to have this car. The greats built it so the craftsmanship is there and it looks good (to me) as well.

  24. That car is nice, given the builders.

But, I've seen others I like the appearance of better.
    Just my taste.

Nah, if they did there wouldn't be enough room left for bidders.

I really dig that car, too bad it never toured the country for some shows, now ill probably never see it in person, because it will just go to a collectors showroom

  28. I'm curious about the sale price with all those names in it.

One of the builders is already gone.
