My only HAMB friendly car this was the day the little guy and I brought it home. We are still rounding up parts and trying to find some time but real soon, the 39 v8 flathead is all rebuilt now I need to decide on a trans and rear then start the metal work.

Hotrod28AR; Unfortunately the T-Bolt in post #262 is NOT a real Thunderbolt--it is an almost exact replica though,427 High Riser, correct carbs, interior, fiberglass hood and fenders, aluminum bumpers, DeLisio 10 piece headers, and on. The '64 Comet beside it is in the process of becoming an A/FX replica with glass hood, fenders and doors. The cars in post #263 are a 390 4 speed Fairlane 500 2 door sedan with a GT interior and original '66 427 Fairlane fiberglass hood; and a '66 Comet 202 2 door six cylinder three speed. Thanks to Cobrajet2 for posting them for me. Syl

This is our garage. My Chevy '51, Yamaha XS400 and parts of a RPU I'm building. The green Chevy '50 used to be mine but sold it to my friend. He also drives the Yamaha XS400 with the blue tank. Those are our girlfriends who stopped by for a lil' shoot.
    Cheers

  30. You DO make a good point, but I also have an alarm on the garage and fortunately my next door neighbors are elderly and have nothing better to do than to keep track of what everyone is doing in the neighborhood all day & night. I've come home several times from work to see him standing in my driveway to tell me "At about 2 PM, some guy in a gold Chevy truck came by..." or whatever it was. He's a car guy too, so luckily they don't mind a few parts cars or unregistered beasts sitting around until I get to them... Get to know your neighbors and watch their stuff and ask them to watch yours. In today's world, nobody really knows who belongs in the neighborhood or not and that makes it EASY for theives to load up in broad daylight and have the neighbors not notice a thing.

On the subject of alarms, a buddy of mine told me about a friend of his getting their garage cleaned out of ALL of his tools, compressor, etc. even though their HOUSE had all of the doors and windows on the alarm, signs in the yard, etc.... but not on the garage!
