Barry....what can I say, you were a hero to me since I can remember, a great friend of my Dad's, and a dear friend of mine too. You will be missed sorely. R.I.P. buddy. The next generation of Ohio Hot Rodders will always carry on your signature look. Your friend, Matt "Jeff" Reynolds
Barry, Ginny and I shared alot of time on Fairgrounds all over the country for many years. We'll all miss him. R.I.P Ol' Buddy
If you see a low flying cloud at one of the Hot Rod shows this year it will be Barry cruizin by.RIP Barry Dave
I have been very fortunate to work for Barry and Ginny Lobeck for 10 years. In that time our working relationship and friendship has grown. Barry was quite a "colorful character" in the hot rod industry. He had a vision for each of the cars we built. No blueprints, just a very good eye for what made a "Lobeck" car. I learned a lot over the years from him and hope to continue to build hot rods with the "Lobeck look" at the shop for Ginny in the years to come. I will miss my friend Barry very much. Rest in Peace.

Sad news. Met Barry at the Frog Follies. He was staying at our same Hotel. I had just gotten my 32 (glass) roadster on the road. He walked up and asked if it was mine. I said yeah, he says man that is one nice roadster. It wasn't finished. No interior at all. Thought it was a heck of a compliment coming from somebody who built them for a living. RIP Barry! 48 Poncho
Sorry to hear this. R.I.P. Barry built a frame for me a few months back. He went out of his way to help me. I will always appreciate that. A great loss, for sure.
