So glad I got to meet the man, a few years ago. My lifetime friend, Jeff Kovach, just recently took delivery of one of the sweetest '32 Brookeville Hi-Boy roadsters. Apparently it was the last project that Barry had his hands on. The car is top shelf ,all the way...just like everything that rolls out of that shop. He was asked to show it at this years Cleveland Autorama. Hopefully he will be there in spirit. Rest in peace. A true icon of this hobby. JT
I, as so many, will miss Barry. He was a fixture at shows for so many years, all that knew him will feel a tremendous void. As gimpy as I am, I knew I could sit, cool off, and most of all laugh at Barry's display trailer. Barry lived the life he wanted and we all benefitted from it. Of us that were able to visit him in his remaining days, saw him fade as a proud person knowing he was thought of by so many. Just amazing how many HAMBERS showed their support. I'm sure Barry thanks you. Chris Staneck
R.I.P. Barry Going to miss the laughter and goodtimes at the car shows. What a great deal to live your life absolutly loving what you did everyday! You were blessed and we all feel blessed in knowing you. D Marsh

So sorry to hear this news, I was really pullin' for him. We've lost a good one and a true "RODDER". I've admired his talent since the early 70's he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
RIP Barry. You will be missed by a lot of people who admired your skill in putting together a true hot rod with the right stance, color and overall design. I am sure you will be building some great ones in your new home. My condolences to your family.
