History Where's Rudy Rodriguez 1940 Mercury @ the LB Motorama?

I heard rumor's (emails that were forwarded) that the Rudy 1940 Mercury coupe was making it's debut @ the Motorama and I can't find any pictures of it. I have been watching this on Rudy's website get built over the last couple (?) of years. This car looks like it is going to be raising the bar for a while.

Just wondering if it was there........or is it a different color now?

I saw the car in his shop a few months ago and was sure it would be done by now. That show would have been perfect for it. I am starting to think it won't be shown.

Rudy was a stop on the 1940 Ford club tour of shops. No one was taking photos that I saw. His shop is like a clean room at a computer factory.

That's it, I might as well just stop building cars altogether. The bar has been raised and then sent to the moon.
