Not a problem, Don. It was fun to go meet the "Ball Busters". See you at the Phillips

  2. Whatever I did with it, I would do it correct to the era. Someone has already quicky painted the car and put on vinyl stickers and lettering. I would probably get the car in the hands of someone who wanted to take it back to the dirt track world and have some fun with other cars from the era. Maybe that is you. Thanks for saving it.

Man, that's cool...a 'score' is right!

It would be cool to find the kid at the bottom of the photo now, and have them and Russ pose in front of the car at the same angle as this old photo.

I found A old coupe in the same shape. I'm making it A street car again but it would of been A lot more fun to run it as found. I love the story about Russ and his coupe, I wish I could find the guys that built mine

Not to take away from Dons old thread but this must not be the kind of 3 window I think it is because theres no sign of jumping up and down, doing back flips and offering body parts for it yet:D

  22. It is a 34 Olds that I picked up a couple years ago on the Hamb...I had a direction on it, then got another willys, and parked it in the corner. I love the car because of it's size.

I definetly want to take it back to that picture...

  23. I love the RC firewall.....too!

I noticed that right away. The guys on "American Pickers" would be dealing on the firewall and leaving the car for the next guy.:D

This picture brought me back a few years to when I bought my 1st '32. The old guy had taken really good care of greaseing the throw out bearing. The bell housing was completely filled with heavy chassis grease. Amazingly the clutch still worked .

  27. Probably gonna need more than grease to fix this one!
