Stuck inside yesterday so I built this in just over 12 hours. These are really awful kits to build !!!

What kind of glue do you use? I haven't built models in 30 years but have a few that I want to. Thanks TP
Lyle, Your builds are always an inspiration. Love the '32 Schoolbus, especially the STOP tuners flip-out sign. Cool stuff, all of it.....Don.
Oh yeah, it's Sunday again - Happy New year to all! Great work guys!!! I have managed to get my 1963 Ford ready. This was my inspiration: I used a 1963 AMT annual to hopefully get some sharper trim details, but no - it's just the same as the recent re-issues. I really love the 1963 Ford but I do hate all side trim, it's truly a pain in the butt to get it right However, the car is done and I used mostly kit parts except for steelies and, headlight lenses and seats from the Revell Thunderbolt kit, front tires from AMT's 1962 Catalina and rear tires from Revells Beatnik Bandit. Decals By Lucas has the Tasca decals, they are thin and delicate I hope ya like her! Here she is in good company:
Started on my third Revell V8-60 powered midget racer this weekend. This thing is less than 4 inches long.
wondering why the Willys seems such an awful kit to build? that sectioned '49 coupe looks sharp. where did you source the wheel covers from? the Revell v8-60 midget; how easy would it be to convert that engine for a street driven rod, say an A-v8?
Shouldn't be hard. What does it need? This engine has a magneto so you'd need a generator and fan and pulleys.
Sorry if this has been posted before, but for those that like to compete I just saw this: http://www.revell.com/contest/revellgearz.html
Seems to be 2 threads going today!? I'll post here. GREAT stuff EVERYONE!! None completed yet this year,But messing with some tire/wheel combos.Still undecided.
I just made a reply on the other Sunday Models thread re the doubling up of the Sunday Model threads for this week. My original thread it would seem fell into a 'technoligical black hole' for a number of hours! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=6047140&posted=1#post6047140 I have asked on my thread that people post here on 50shoe's thread. thanks Geoff aka whodaky
Nice 62 Buick custom... I have been building off and on for forty plus years. I started making a few customs during this time but never finished one.
Here is one of my favorites...AMT's 53 Ford pick up, builds great right out of the box. In the drivers seat is an old Ulrich mini man figure. These were multi piece figures that required a lot of work to get them to look right. The comp coupe was made with a mix of parts from the parts box. The body was issued by MPC...It may have come in the American Graffitti dragster kit. The chassis is from the Dragula kit, with added roll bar. The engine is a Revell parts pack. The trailer was an AMT item that I found at swap meet and restored.
Here's all I got to contribute, from 62'or63', lower right with deuce 5-w,still have it down in a box along with a couple hundred others!
