Started a Sunday Models 2/1/11 thread earlier today with this model, but the thread has disappeared (?).
A 1/8th '32 tudor body I am doing! A long way to go, but I am pleased with how it is coming out!

I'm pretty sure I saw one built up at the model forum:
    http://trakinscale.proboards.com/index.cgi

Deuces, I also built one of the Revell bikes. I wasn't sure of the scale at first because it didn't say so on the box. Did some measuring and the front rim is about 2 5/8" round. Multiplied by 8 works out to 21". 21" was molded into the tire.

Here is a scan from a circa 1960's model magazine. Wish I had one of these!

I have one of these comp coupes started in resin ( one of the many projects I need to get to) and there is talk/rumor for some time now that Lindburg is planning on releasing this in the future.

I wish I had a full size body I would mount it on my Dragster.

Ya, We've all been in a hurry up and wait mode for what seems like forever for this to be released. I didn't figure adding a body to the current Exterminator kit would be such a big hassle unless they have other plans (wishfull thinking).

Even at the snails pace I'm building at here I may get this scratch built one done before the kit hits the shelves.

    Cheers

It looks to be a glass body & if so, cut away. It can be glued back together if you make a wrong cut. :)

This here is a hot rod website. that is what we do here. we cut stuff to make it lower, smoother & lighter.

Make a restorer cry today, build a hot rod! :D

    ebay!

I've bought the majority of my 1/8th scale cars on ebay. You pay a premium compared to yard sales, but you have your pick.

I've been building models since the late 50's, and just don't have the time anymore, but I still buy and some 1/12th and 1/8th plastic and metal kits.
Here is a picture of one of mine from some years ago, a 1/12th Revell 250GTO and I purchased a complete detail kit from Europe.....................it took about 200hrs to complete................not all at once though.
