Looking for detailed I6's

    Do you have a vacuum source for the ventilation system? The chevy road draft tube uses the air running under the car to suck out the gasses, the GMC system uses a fitting in the valve cover that connects to the carb for vacuum and the breather is on the input.

    These are old pictures but I have a fitting in the back of the valve cover that connects to the intake.

    Very nice pics of all of those Chevy 6 bangers. I am going to do a little of what ihave seen in all of those pictures. Use a lot of vintage speed parts and lots of chrome/polished aluminum. Pistures will be showing up after the first of the yaer....

    joe - great jb on the motor. I am looking to do one similar. Are you runninga stock cam, What kind of rear end/gears are you running? What kind of highway speeds are you getting & MPG.
    Any words of wisdom with my build?

    The wagon is comming along good, just finishing up a lot of lose ends on the fab work and stuff that doesn't show much progress .im about ready to pull the motor and smooth that all out and cont on a lot of body work that needs done .

    Oh yea, that is an older pic. the front clip is installed motor runs great, have to tinker with the linkage and carbs to get it just right, but clearance on the radiator is very tight but its all good.

    Thicksun intake for a 216 chevy, ports opened up for the 235 and new rings for the intake.
