post pics of 40s -50s style kustoms in the snow! today or back in the day....

I think it's something fasinating about kustoms in the snow, maby it brings out the colours or something, to me it looks so cool.

I'll start of with a famous one, and one of my car shot on christmas eve.

I think its the contrast against the snow. The green color is brilliant....

I wished that I had the opportunity to meet the guy. He had to be one of the koolest..
Makes me feel guilty not driving my Merc to work today just because it was a little bit
    too cold.

In fact, the place where that was taken, was a very cool place. You can go on any given night, and there was always somebody there with their car there.Friday and Saturdays was an actual cruise night.

You were a blessed man to have known the Fonz. We were going to go to Lead East
just to meet the guy and he passed away before I had the chance. I got the chance
to watch his video and when he light his cigarette with his torch was just way too kool.
I had to watch it over, over and over.. Man that dude was kool!

That would have been fun to be able to hang out there...

Awesome thread! I think that the snow adds to the "romantic" aspect that old cars have.

Love it I remember in the 1950's when I got my channeled 32 Ford 3 window on the road it was -30 below zero in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada and I had cut my firewall to Channel the car and the -30 wind roared up my pants legs freezing my gonads . But I drove it every day to high school this way. Man it was fun. I had no seat but sat on a lump of wood that was cut from a rail way tie. If I went around a corner to quickly my seat[the lump of wood] with me on it would slide across the floor making it hard to be cool and be on the throttle at the same time.

Sorry but the pictures from this event are all in my brain so I write about it.
