House Fire 12/26/10

So I got a call yesterday morning from my father saying we had a fire in my childhood home. He was out on his paper route when it happened. Long story short, it was a total loss, even our 4 dogs. We were told a running electric fan in the basement was the cause. He is staying with me until we can figure out what to do. all my car stuff is safe at my house but most of the print "magazines, posters, etc.." from my days as a pro snowboarder were burned up. I'm just happy my dad is ok, thank God for that.

it was the smoke that got the dogs. I'm totally beside myself at this point, thanks to my friends for the support.

I am glad your Dad's OK. I am sorry about your loss of personal items, and if you are as close to your dogs as I am to mine, that really hurts.

Wow, that sucks, sorry to hear and like others have said, thank GOD your Dad is ok.
What sizes is your Dad? Perhaps the HAMB could send him some shirts, pants, warm coats, hats, gloves, etc to get him thru for abit.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss and loss of the pets. Mine are like children. Glad you dad is ok. Material things can be replaced. Keep your chin up.
