To have the roadster up and running and driving by the No Overheads run this year. Life got in the way on that one last year. To get the complete rolling chassis done for the 48 and have the major bodywork done on the cab. I've got most of the pieces and will have the front suspension before the end of January and then it's attack the frame and make a chassis out of it. There are some other things on the other projects but they don't really have any time line they will just happen when they happen
Get the 63 pickup together enough to put some miles on it this summer. This might even be a realistic goal!
My daughter is getting married in January, save up some more money to get the 40 coupe on the road by Memorial Day so I can be in the parade.
Either get featured on "Hoarders" TV show or clean out the basement. I'd like to have the doors rebuilt and in primer and attached to the finished cowl on the '30 Roadster by July 4th. Setting that July 4th goal allows me the rest of 2011 to meet it.
Get my truck back together after it comes back from paint... Get it to the Showdown drags. Drive the hell out of my Ranchero... Save some $$$ to get a chassis together, perhaps, for my coupe body, and hopefully keep learning metalworking skills. If any two of these actually happen, I'm more than satisfied.
The goal for 2011 is the same as it was for 2010. Get Roofus on the road! I also want to take my daughter out to SpeedWeek.
To get my 57 back on the road I took it apart 15 years ago to pro street it (was a perfectly good hot rod) and this is how it looks today. Ironicly I was thinking about the car this morning and went out to check out a thought I had to mount the Corvette front suspension using a Flat Out engineering cross member. When I came in and logged on to HAMB this was what I saw. Must be an omen. Merry Christmas everyone Pat
I've been building my 1931 Model A Coupe for approx. 4 yrs now. Due to health problems it's taken a bit longer than planned. I hope to finish it by the end of 2011 if possible. They way i feel now (health wise) it seems doable. We shall see. Scott
Leave on our 5,000 mile trip that didn't happen in 2010 through the upper Western states and visit these Hamb guys hope to see lakes modified in Silverton Oregon and stop and see my friend Rob Rider in Seattle then up into British Columbia and see Rob's 29 Dodge then in August see Rob Rider and Larry Ofria at Speed week that would Really top off my year meeting Rob's friend legendary engine builder owner of Valley Head Service in Northridge California
Have my Nash and fueler flatty done by the Antique Nationals, first Sunday of June... Should probably start today!
Get the floor in my O/T '66 chevy II, get a posi, get the rear axle/suspension back together and under the car, restore the dash, steering column, paint the floor and metal interior parts, POR15 the underside, and MAYBE get the front end under it, and make some progress on the upholstery. Be nice to have it back on 4 wheels by this time next year, but I dont know if I will have enough $$. Gonna be a busy year.
Smooth the firewall, new steering column, new MII front end, widen original artillery wheels and get it on the road by April. Waiting to find out the company bonus to figure out how much I really get to do. Hopefully all!
I aspire for 2011 to look at the world with a fresh perspective, to look at the technology of old with a greater passion, to exist with a better harmony with my fellow creatures on our little place in the stars.
hopefully get a start on my hardtop 53, unless another A coupe comes my way and distracts me (fingers crossed)
