Gene puts on an awesome workshop. I learned SO much when I had him put one on in Ohio a couple years back. It must be even more rad when he's working on your car! :D

SO glad I made it this weekend! I'll post my pics as soon as I'm finished moving (could be a weekor so). I got a few videos too of the hammer welding and leading. I'll see how they turned out before posting em. Thanks to Gene for sharing with all of us and to Alex for having us to his shop! It was good to put a face to some HAMBers also!

I think this is what they mean by the term "passing the torch". Very cool!

What a sausage fest! Not a chick in sight! Suzie must have been taking the photo, I saw her in a few of the other shots. Looks like it was a lot of fun!

  17. Haha....no shit! By the third day, the guys with long hair were starting to get nervous.

Far left, middle row, wearing a beanie...I think I was right behind you. You had a 1 in 5 chance if you guessed.

You know it! It looks like you guys had a really good time. Plus it is always more fun learning when you are really doing it on a car!

This last weekend was incredible. The workshop Gene put on was incredible. So much information and tips and tricks, I spent most of the day at work just fucking about with the things Gene showed us.

I arrived at Gambino's at 2:00pm Friday, and left 4:30pm on Monday(of course there was time spent in a hotel bed) and it was probably the most incredible 74 hours ever. Met some really cool guys, learned a lot and developed a further hatred of Kansas.

    Dave's car at 2:00 Friday afternoon, 11:00 and 12:00

Adam and Tim seem entirely too amused at my abortive attempt at spreading lead.

Gene's hammer welding; He makes it look entirely too easy.

    Sinking in antennas.

    Is it straight?

More pictures of what went down.

    Frenched a headlight.

    Sunk antennas.

Filled trim holes and finshed the metal.

    How the master uses plastic.

    Embossing with an English Wheel.

    Hammer Forms.

And a hundred other things I didn't get pictures of.

Those of you who attended the class should put a picture of yourself up here so that we can tie names to faces to HAMB screen names.
