This really sucks, especially two days before Christmas. It says they all got out safe, but the home is a total loss. http://www.courierpress.com/news/2010/dec/23/fire-destroys-northern-vanderburgh-co-home-family/ http://www.news25.us/Global/story.asp?S=13732453
OMG, that's horrible. Dennis is a really nice guy. I've met his daughter too, she's just as nice. I took her for a ride in Big Olds at the Road Rocket Rumble a few years ago. My heart goes out to the family.
i briefly met dennis at a show in lima , he seemeed alittle uppity but was decently friendly sad to hear about this especailly this close to christmas im glad all are ok
terrible.....he was out of town visiting his seriously ill mother.... and two days before Christmas.... he's a total car guy......just awful...speechless
Holy Batshit! That was one heck of a fire! That sucks - I know what losing a house like that is like. In no way is it a "fun" experience, for certain. Thoughts and prayers to them. Good thing is that no one was physically hurt.
WOW that sucks! I have to imagine a guy like Dennis had a lot of neat shit in the house as well. I hope he was well insured and it all works out for him.
Sorry to hear this... Mr Gage seems like a great guy. My cousin is going through the same thing. His house burned down while he was at work and all he had to his name after that was his van and the clothes on his back.
It sucks when this happens but glad all are safe, the only truly irreplacables are the family members....
Looking at the pics, that fire burned hot and fast. This is sad for anyone just before Christmas. One sad situation after another for the family.
The house is almost exactly One mile from the fire dept. Hard to believe it went up as fast as it did.
Large, open rooms with cathedral ceilings allowing it to "breathe?" That looks like an oxygen-rich situation. Fire/emergency departments are the greatest responders to any disaster/emergency situation involving random situations. They're the ultimate professionals! Hope the Gage family recovers quickly from this disaster.I wish them the best.
Bummer but glad everybody is well and God Bless the Firefighters who do their best in those situtations. Really stressful especially this time of year and with a mother in ailing healthy.
Why does this stuff always seem to happen at Christmas time? It's just plain sad. I am glad everybody is ok.
