Exams are over for this year, so I'm getting back to sketching.

Below you can see, the stuff I can do, this is a beetle restiled as a 3 volume coupe.

Looks like a Hebmuller. Keep practicing and hone your skills, Amigo. I hope exams went well. You better have gotten all A's!

I really hope so, college is a hard place specially chemistry.

about the car, yes I heard of Hebmullers too bad only existed 1 coupe and it was totaled long ago.

Ah! qualifications in Uruguay are numbers, not letters

I read a book years ago called " Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain". By chapter 4 I was astonished by how much I had learned about the artistic process and the improvement in how I draw. It total changed how I view art. This book is awesome!

I decided to revive this thread by drawing exactly what was in my head, I just took a beetle blueprint and:

lowered, extended and reshaped doors, new roof and retouched windshield, the roof has been lowered just a little, .

looks like the pages of every notebook i had in school. even through two years of college (well; no fair; i was doing Commercial Art then) !

plop yourself down on a bench near a busy street; sketch your own version of whatever catches your eye. that Beetle restyle looked cool; the actual car pictured had some proportion issues that admittedly must be hell to work out in steel.

I've never had any formal training at drawing and the finned cr is something that came out of my brain, it has a 375 cui v12 and torsion bar suspension all around and irs
