I saw them on a car this past week in the middle of a field. What are they? They had "Gee Tee" on them.

    Thanks,
    Chris

That is all that I have of the car, the sun was setting and it was freezing cold and the "farmer" was getting ready to go have supper, so it was sorta' a walk and take pix trip to look at some tin.

    Thanks.

  5. that 57 definitely looks saveable..........

  6. sodbuster, i dont know anything about those wheels but

i REALLY could use that checck mark trim piece off that 57 just the part that comes from the door down and kicks back up

would it be availible by chance? thats the last piece of trim i need for my 57

    Cool stuff.
Not an expert but the wheels as mentioned were probably a knock-off.
Remind me of a Radir, or Fenton wheel.

Seriously doubt those are a Radir knock off. Those wheels were probably on that car long before Radir made em.

Those look a little rounded to be M/T's so they probably are knock-off's like everyone has said. Maybe Rocket or Fenton. Only way to be sure is to jack it up!:)

  17. Probably has a Cammer.

  18. With an aluminum center and a steel outer, those wheels might be toast sitting in the dirt like that. Someone on the hamb had a photo of a center cap like that without a logo, kinda cool looking wheel but the car is much better.

If I was ever going to own a '50s car, it would be a '57 Ford...

  22. That would make all the "barn find" '32-'34 posts seem kinda mediocre all of a sudden. Chances are it's just got an old grubby Y-block, or a six with a three speed. Either way though.

When you part it out, the trim and wheels are spoken for... Put me down for ALL the other parts, still bolted together please :D

  26. Whatever they are-grab em!! They're cool, & so is the rest of the car! You might even light up some old timers face when he sees his old car cruising the streets again!

Those are kick ass. I have Fenton Hawks and they're chromed steel rims with the aluminum centers, I'd love to have that set of wheels, or even just the center caps if the wheels ended up being junk. Very interesting car.

Ditto on that those things are ancient, I used to have a pair similar back in the mid 60's on a 57 Chevy can't remember thre brand name but they were old then and I replaced them with some E/T's.
