Thanks everyone. Its definately a feel good kind of deal, that and were preserving another old car. Jack was a bit speechless at first but quickly warmed up, For those of you offering extra bits and pieces, thats mighty kind of you, probably best to hit Javier with a PM...

Best story in a long time. I got my first car when I was 13 for a birthday gift (65 Mustang) and I still have it.

Great story, Jack my Dad use to say I got my education at Jack In The Box in Lemon Grove, California. Looking back I now believe he was right. Good Luck with your project.

  19. Way too cool , to all involved " you guys are the best".

What needs to happen next is we need to get young Jack signed up here as a hamber so he can keep us updated with his own BUILD THREAD .

I'd sure as hell like to watch his progress.

Great reflection on the way we operate guys. That was basically the way I found my ride. I wish I would have documented it the way you did. You rock, good luck with your project.

Well there's one kid that won't be out robbing gas stations for crack money. Whenever parent take a genuine interest in their interests the kids win. Good job gents.

This time of year, I can't help thinking about Bedford Falls. Even if your post took place a thousand or two miles south, it still qualifies for a reaffirmation that the world'll turn out right.
