hi is there any hambers out there that have filled an anglia roof using a roof panel from a wagon or van type of roof with beads in it maybe someone can recomend a good one to use thanks in advance for any help on this
mk 1 Vauxhall Astra or Opel Kadet Estate, I'm certain this was the recomended one when I was thinking of buying a Pop many moons ago. I'd also have a look at the Ford Sierra Estate / Ford Taunus in the USA Post on one of the UK message boards http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/ or http://www.nsra.org.uk/newforum/
I used the roof from a 1989 accura 4-door with an electric sun roof.I also used the interior headliner and switch, works great
I'd have to agree with you there, but on the other hand American Cars aren't very numerous here either and therefore parts and vehicles are scarce /rare. Specialists are few and dedicated all parts are mail order either from a domestic specialist or via the internet. I know some European design cars are marketed in the US and Canada under different Make and Model names, that is the reason why I have included the pictures for easier identification of those vehicles. The other option is to make up a wooden four sided template that is larger than the original "hole" and take it to your friendly local salvage yard to try out on whatever they have in stock to match the contour of the donor roof to the original roof. (there must be a post somewhere here about this, I've not searched)
