Tranny john's dream truck getting ready for gnrs

Helping my friend tranny john's dream style truck he has been working on for more than 25 years and is finishing the home strech. My friend andrew and i and kieth dean spent our sunday color sanding and rubbing out his truck. Kieth painted about 2 month ago. so i voulenterd to help him out. Kieth put a quickie rub on it when he first painted it. So today we put the rub out on it 1200-2000 looks real good. He still has to put the interior and glass in it and the chrome on. Then will put the final detail on it days before the show. Its and awsome truck hope to see it done finally. By the way those head light cover are from the barris greacian that bob herohita made for it they were a back up pair for it. John used to own the greacian in the 80s. Billy

 

25 years? Dang! I give up on a poop after 20 minutes. That truck is really, really cool! Is it a Studebaker?

I remember that in Paso many moons ago when it was primer brown. Same truck? Beautiful I get to see it in the flesh at the GNRS.

Yeah, just after I clicked the thread title, I thought to myself, "God, I hope this guy does a lot of transmission work."

The truck is beautiful.

Awesome! Ive been waitin to see this finished since i first seen it in oxi-red red primer some Mooneyes ago.
