Mooneyes mishap.

    I can't see the reasoning on this one...............maybe it's just me. :confused:

    One quick way to demonstrate it is take an axle with an open diff, remove the drums, rotate the yoke 1 time and see how much the axle flanges turn (assuming there is no resistance on either side and they both go the same amount). Then have someone hold one axle flange stationary and do the same. The single axle turning will go twice as many revolutions. Spider gears are wierd that way.

    It's Grouchos old car. He sold it right after it was finished to a guy named Curt. I don't know if Curt is on the Hamb though. Last I knew, the car was a peg leg with 3:08 gears.

    Were those the "Caldwells"? Heard they worked pretty good for a full tread pattern street tire.
