Have shown this model in various stages over the last couple of months. Well it is now completed. Although it does lack a few details and components. But I don't think these detract from the finished model.
I don't have the time to do everything on this model at this stage. As I need to get it packaged up, the package striped and sent.
This model is a Christmas gift for some friend's son/grandson. Spencer T is not yet 1 year old, but I was inspired for various reasons to build this model for him. I know it will be a very special Christmas for Spencer T and all his family, this being his first and I hope this model makes it that little bit more special.
Photographing this model for the last time I thought I would include some of my other 1/18th diecast '34 models in some of the images.

After posting this thread I realised I hadn't taken a shot of the completed model witout the hood on. So I thought I would take a shot like that and whilst I was at it, I took a few other shots!

    Geoff and Jim; Nice '34s!

Ryan: Clean work on the Camaro!

Here's a '59 T-bird (with '58 bumpers) I've been slowly working on. Original AMT 3n1 annual, lowered, mild custom to have Watson-style panel paint (of course!).

whodaky, got any more pics of the green car with the mail slot chop and the aluminum front end? That thing looks killer!!! I'm pretty partial about the baby blue one too. Very nice work.

For those of you interested in more 8th scale models, here's one of mine. The body is an 8th scale firbrglass Willys coupe from the Madd Fabricator and its sitting on a modified TDR chassis. Power comes from a 392 Hemi with a blower and dual fours, a Lenco four speed and a Williams style rear end.

Here's another of my8th scale projects. This one's a R/M deuce body on a heavily modified chassis with IFS/IRS. It will be Jaguar powered and sits on a set of metal wire wheels from Chris Garcia.

Lotsa very noice build this week, especially the big scale stuff which we don't see that often

Hillbilly Jim. That "rat" is super sweet. That's a '29 on Deuce rails, right? Is it 1/25 scale? If so, did you do the interior yourself, and do you have any pics of it? I've got an AMT '29 roadster on Revell '32 rails going and would like to fab up a nice fat roll on the bench seat like you appear to have. I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna do it...

    Hi Bernard
Thanks, it's a 1/18.I loved doing the models when I was a kid,but I just don't have the patience to do them now. I just take the 1/18 diecasts and redo them to what I like. I wish there were more parts out there for the kind of things I'd like to do.
