Picked this one up in August. It has been setting since 1981.

 

With tires, wheels and an interior cleanup. It has a (I think) a 289 maybe a 260 with a 2 speed automatic.

None at all! The engine and trans were gone when I bought it Looking for some kool different suggestions.

 

I got a 302 with an aod behind it. - can get up towards 20 mpg if I could learn to keep my foot out of it, but she is usually around 13 mpg they way I drive. I also switched the rear to a 3:50 ratio to really get the rpm's down when in overdrive.

Just drug it home yesterday. Olds rocket engine and other hidden goodies. Haven't unloaded it yet, but soon.

That was the first time I ever did any. Just took a little time to figure out how I was going to do it, then make it work.
Its all just metal, make a mistake always can fix it. LOL

 

this is my new acquisition, F100 pickup 1957 with only 5000 miles on meter....great truck ans run like brand new 1957
