    I love that book, checked it out from the school library in Jr high a couple of million times!

    I have to say that this is one of the nicer modern bubble tops I've seen.
    Awesome job...:D
    There have been quite a few in the past few years.
    I was a kid in the 60's during the bubble top show rod thing and it was super cool back then, especially to a grade school kid!
    Like I said before the Mysterion takes the cake for me. I don't care if the frame did fall apart. The new copy that was built fixed that problem. Does anyone know who bought that Mysterion copy at the Peterson auction just recently??

    I have a friend locally who is building one but I dont know if he wants any exposure before its finished I will look into getting some pics though

    hi there guys...what an awesome thread!! i love these show cars , the creativity is really what bein a car guy is all about...I've spent plenty of time restoring old vintage cars n classics but to me its soooo cool gettin the creative juices goin ....
    I'm wonderin if anyone has any more pics of the Nomad? on pg10...I'm sure there must been lotsa customs out there that most of us haven't clapped eyes on yet...
    also I'm lookin for pics of any sectioned 46-48 Chevy cars(not pickups) as I'm gettin set to chop,section and prob channel mine... thanks heaps in advance...and plz keep this thread goin !! really enjoyin it here down under :):):)

    If that's the cobo hall then that is probably the year the ROTAR threw a propeller and injured a spectator.

    I have come to the conclusion that if I am ever gonna complete all the car build ideas I have rattling around in my head, I need to win the lotto, and lock myself in the shop for the rest of my life to get them finished.
