Well, a few weeks back I traded the Packard coupe for a 57 Bel Air 4 door HT. I am happy as a pig in - well you get it. The Packard was an emotional buy, this is what I wanted to begin with (well an 56 Olds 88 Rocket - close enough). Will post pics soon. Sorry, had to share
Sorry, I never check lists - I will try to be more active.... Pics - 40 Packard coupe - suicide doors and chopped and other fun things Bel Air - more my style
People ask me why I got rid of the hot rod and got the family car - I explained two kids and what I wanted on a side note, she is not pink she is tan (damn rain clouds) - she is spray painted and when I have some time away from work I will remedy that.
you did good. im partail to packards, but not street rods, and the chevy fits right in here. hope the kids are liking it too.
Howdy again! The kids love her and the fact that all three of us fit up front! I cannot wait to start sanding and getting rid of some of the stuff that was, I guess, glued on there (some sticker decoration they spray painted over after the people I got her from tried to remove it). I have a ton of questions but will search before I ask - as I get there. Right now it is getting the gauges working again - on a budget, I am hoping it is just wiring and replacing stupid things. Why is it when you have the time, you do not have the money - and when you have there is no time?
