Well, a few weeks back I traded the Packard coupe for a 57 Bel Air 4 door HT.

I am happy as a pig in - well you get it.

The Packard was an emotional buy, this is what I wanted to begin with (well an 56 Olds 88 Rocket - close enough). Will post pics soon.

    Sorry, had to share :)

People ask me why I got rid of the hot rod and got the family car - I explained two kids and what I wanted :)

on a side note, she is not pink she is tan (damn rain clouds) - she is spray painted and when I have some time away from work I will remedy that.

    Howdy again!

The kids love her and the fact that all three of us fit up front!

I cannot wait to start sanding and getting rid of some of the stuff that was, I guess, glued on there (some sticker decoration they spray painted over after the people I got her from tried to remove it). I have a ton of questions but will search before I ask - as I get there.

Right now it is getting the gauges working again - on a budget, I am hoping it is just wiring and replacing stupid things.

Why is it when you have the time, you do not have the money - and when you have there is no time?
