Don't have a pict. but I always liked Dave Lanes driver 32 Rdstr ,primed with green big block.Somebody must know and show that photo.
Here it is: Dave went thru it and changed it up awhile back. Looks like this now(the color of the engine is much more a butterscotch color than the orange it looks like in this pic):
I love the Jim Jard/Kennedy Bros. roadsta!....mmmm or the black one... sinister! Opps..sorry.. you asked for hoodless ones.I just got mesmerizzzzzed.
I love this damn thing!!! It's probably one of the only few really high dollar builds that shows taste and restraint. It seems like most at the GNRS that was competing for the AMBR award were just throwing $$$$ at theirs. This one looks bad ass.
Kaydub, love that car. If I need a boost,I go and look at the build pictures. That Dave Lane guy is pretty crafty http://www.fastlanerodshop.com/
Here's a few: Brooks Kramner's 32 cabriolet(taken in the 1970's) Denny's 32(don't know his last name;I striped it while on vacation in Mass) My cousin's 32(owned by Eldon Sidebotham in the 50's;now by Dave Simard)taken in 1966.The next pic is the same car in 1998 after Dave Simard bought it.Still has the name I painted on it in the 1960's. Bob Fletcher's 3 window. Fred Dudek's roadster at Billetproof.Won best in show and Fred died 3 days later. George's Rod Bod's roadster at Depot Town in Ypsilanti. Larry Hook's 3 window at Ralph's Diner.
