Amazing, amazing work, I've done panel repairs, but nothing as nice as that.

    Hey Flop,

Kandy was a very nice young lady :D:D

Than, you're the only one who's scared by your work, most of us have seen the work you did on the ''tin indian'' & the ''shev-o-lay'';)!

Very nice work. If you were in Louisiana, I'd bring my A tub over to you and let you work the same magic. Same hole in the firewall too!

  14. Nice work indeed , oh and not to be too nitpicky but this should read nothing too exciting, Not to. No i'm not the grammar police either.

Looks good! I'm just getting my head around the same problems, but I'm a total newbie to sheet metal work.
I'm fixing a poor chop, and some ugly patch work on a Model A coupe right now, so, I'm very interested...

got a bunch done since the lat post.

wheel well patch sittin in place

some primer on the subframe and some weld-through primer on the lower part of the patch because i dont know if the patch gets spot welded to the subframe once ya wrap it around or not.

    tacked in .

i usually dont work with that many tacks but for this one it seemed impossible not to. there were alot of variations in where the patch panel wanted to sit and where the og wheel well was so a ton of tacks it was

    finished up!

for future reference it took a little more then 18 feet of tig rod to weld in the patch haha

    another view

    next side

    more subframe rusty-ness

new piece of subframe with some shrinker stretcher action to mimic the stock piece

    sitting in place

should be welded in before to long and then onto another wheel well.
