    51ChevPU-
Man oh man do I dig those Hudson "step downs"! I've seen a few up for sale lately online- sure wish I had a little bit of coin and the room to have one of them. They are so slick!

Out getting firewood and came across this so i sent a text with a piture to the wife that said "honey look what i found" expecting to hear how we don't need another project. Instead she says to see if it can be had since she loves the fins.
So i'll be dragging it home this weeked.

  22. My wife was not thrilled with my new project until she saw it show up on the trailor! Her comment was: " Oh my God, It's beautiful!" (made my day) I posted a picture earlier but here's another...

this is one that i picked up from mt nephew a few years ago ..still trying to collect up parts to finish ...
saw it buried in the back of a garage ,, and loved the way it looked.. showed it to my wife ,,, she started picking out the paint job .. candy eggplant with 3 color ghost flames ... then she asked how much ?? $300.00 ?? bring it home .. so here it sits..
my avatar is the front end .... photoshopped of course ..

So many people I know simply turn up their noses when you say "Four Door". But it's not all about counting door handles, is it? To me, it concerns roof lines, and the number of pillars. There are a great many four door cars that actually look as clean and nice as their two door counterparts, especially the four door hardtops. Take the 56 Mercury Phaeton, or 57 Ford Fairlane 500 for example. And with others, it's all about presentation. A few subtle modificatins, and a lot of "ugly" can be made to go away. It's all about cool old cars anyway, right? When you're blasting down the road looking out over a vintage dashboard and listening to a great exhaust melody while in the company of close friends, who has time or inclination to count door handles?
