I am retired and have always had an interest in muscle cars since I I've been aware. I am interested in owning only Mopars but appreciate all USA made muscle cars, customs and hot rods. I have a 1965 4-door Dart with some mods but it is my beater. I also have a 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible with the 440 HP motor. It is an original CA car with 55K miles. I am in the process of restoring the dashboard/instruments etc. which started out as a dash pad recover and a dimmer switch repair but has turned into taking the whole dash out and restoring all the lettering blah blah blah. We all know how it goes. I also have a 1968 Dart GT Convertible waiting to be done. In the past I restored a 1970 Challenger T/A that got 4th place at the Nationals in Columbus Ohio. I sold it because I was starting to drive the hell out of it and a dude from my club gave me $50K for it that I bought dirt with for a new house I built (myself-I can't stand the quality of workmanshit I was going to have to hire) about 4 years ago. I have done a fair amount of wood and metal machine restoration-all old USA made stuff. My main deal these days is beekeeping which I do to harvest honey to sell for a cancer foundation called chordoma.org that took a friend of mine at age 45. It is way more work and $ than I had thought it would be but it is extremely interesting and rewarding. I have a non-profit in NC "Howard's Helping Hands" I hope to visit often-this looks like a real good place to spend time. Howard Hampstead, NC
