Event Coverage 8th Annual Blanket Run

Its that time of year again to help out those less fortunate than us. Saturday Dec. 4th is the 8th Annual Blanket Run.

Starts at 8:00am and goes till about 3:00pm
Free Lunch by the Cluster Busters Hot Rod Club...

Visit shops, car collections and more... places you would not normally get to see.

Cost: A new or gently used blanker (what a deal)

I look forward to seeing everyone again... Snow or not... there will be open top roadsters... they do it every year... Bring your Hot Rod, Custom, or daily driver...

This is always a great event...they alway's come up with cool places to stop...

We've enjoyed coming down the past two years. Planning on making the trip again this year!

Monday bump! This Saturday!

 

I'm too old to freeze my ass off. If it's not too bad I'll bring my sedan. If it is I'll drive the truck...anyway I'll be there, with blankets.

Well, long term forcast: subject to change....
"Most of the models have a general 1-3 inches. But from I-70 north looks like there could be a band of 2-4 inches. It is still early but all models are now showing this wave of low pressure bringing snow to central Indiana. One of the models, the NAM prints out like 4-8 inches of snow. But I think this is a bit much. We shall see."

 

What's a blanket run without snow?! Get your camera ready again Bill, we're roadster bound!

Great event. I'm down in Evansville. Wish i would've heard about this sooner. I'll plan on coming next year and bringing some people.

 

I have heard that someone wearing a full face ski mask knocked off a couple of 7-11's last year, mumbling something about fix my hot rod and was driving an unusual topless car with a real different motor. Could this be anyone we know? Just kiddin ya Lindross, I love this effort by you cats, making someone warm on a cold winter night is a super cause. Wish I was close enough to join you guys.
