You got a bad deal. Glad you didnt just scrap it and decided to roll up your sleeves and fix it. That cant be to cheap to repair in germany. Im surprised the gonners didnt get pissed for the builder welding their name to it. Joke or not.

Wow, you did some righteous work to save this car. By the way, just for the record, it's not a Bel Air. The first year for the Bel Air was 50. And only the HardTop was the Bel Air in 50, 51 and 52.
