    Buddy of mine used to check for spark on lawn mowers by pulling the plug holding it , pulling the rope, he always said it has to shock you up to your elbow or you ain't getting enough juice.

    I got an old step stool just like the one the dog is sitting on.

    addendum to torque tip - we just tighten it as tight as you can get it, then tighten it another half a turn - and your`e there!

    Man, & I always thought you measured the light bulb voltage by what degree of burns you got on your finger tips from holding it, HA,HA.

    done good, might have to get a bigger wrench for my magneto, did the test like you said, and threw that other one over the roof and now I can't find it....lucily it was a metric open-ender any how so it won't matter much I suppose.
