Rips me up every time I hear about a stolen ride. Wish these low lifes would figure out that they can make a living working honestly too. My ride is no mega buck creation, but I'll be putting a tracking device in somewhere that it won't be found without some wrenching....... Here's hoping for a happy ending for the Goats return..............
They are most likely grabbing what they think is an empty Hallmark trailer to use themselves or to sell to someone else. Most likely the car wasn't the main target. Anti theft devices for trailers are fairly inexpensive or anyone who can weld can make his own easy enough and something that all of us who have any kind of trailer need to think about. There are a couple of serious Pontiac and GTO boards that the info needs to be posted on along with Hot Rod hotline if it hasn't been done.
Again??!!.... Jesus what are we gonna do? This sucks, Ill keep my eye out for it in CO. If I find the guy, they won't after I am done.
.....Damm.....been a lot of this lately.......Maybe us hotroders have to put on a tracking devise on our cars........something has to be done soon....
Are we going to have to have a special place here to post pictures of all the kidnapped cars or put their pictures on oil cans? I'm glad no one wants my crap but I really feel for those who have their creations stolen. I hope we can help! I do think these alerts can help.
I guess we are learning this year to not leave cars in trailers. Maybe these theves are after the trailers and they all just happen to have cars in them?? Anyhow, this sucks!
Man.. I think that's the truth. I've had a few custom bikes and it always bothered me that the registration form for the show asked for my address. I figure that giving the local motorcycle club my address of where my bike could be found was a really bad idea. Probably the same with cars.
this is really getting old and that perp is one fucked up individual best of luck the south east new england regions got an eye out
no one ever replied to my post must not be much interest. im not sure if its possible but it does seem that i seen a trailer with that on the back door.
The car and trailer were found abandoned in Ramona, CA. Engine and trans are gone. Thanks to all who put the word out and kept their eyes open.
Can you give us a general description of the drivetrain we'll be looking for at the next swap meet? Thanks
