Tired?? More like looking forward in anticipation. Love the thought process. There is nothing like time spent in the shop (men's crisis center) thinking out your next step. I've never tried the heel on the TIG pedal technique. Maybe next time.
What a way to spend a morning watching your clips. Fantastic work and I really enjoy the concept of marrying the two body styles together.
I'm willing to bet it's not Very cool to watch you work Brian...having seen the results, its very educational to see how you get that metal so perfect. I need to get better tools!
How cool is that... That chop looks bad ass very nice job. My two boys 3 & 7 come running in to the room when they hear the introduction. I hope you are working on a new video Hint Hint... Bill
Can't wait for the next one!! Brian what amp setting do you use when doing sheet metal? It looks as though you are depressing your foot pedal all the way when you are tacking?
Nice work .Your metal work skills are truely amazing .The wonders of a Tig welder and a hammer / dolly in the hands of someone that can use them ...
Bass you livin my dream ,to work day by day on those bodys. You got a god taste in engines and bodystyle, keep me intouche with those videos
I try not to make it a habit, but it happens from time to time...usually when I'm tacking sheetmetal on low amperage...and usually when I'm not wearing gloves. It takes a little longer for the high frequency to start the arc when the welder is set on low amps, and sometimes it'll arc over to the filler rod if you have it grounded out. Thanks Jimmy. Part 9 has been added to the first post.
Awesome work and that car is going to be awesome i like the things you have done to this car very cool
bass every clip so cool, man that car is eating up the disc ,but well worth it !!! you sure earned that vaction this summer, for a one man show you have alot of us on the edge of are seats!!
Pedal all the way down is relevant to how many amps is set on the machine, IE 50A setting, 50 with full pedal. That being said, what settings DO you have on the machine? It "lights up" pretty quick for nice tacks, amazing work for sure... And what grit paper is on that DA to throw sparks like that, damn its eating! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
