Moondog13, I wish I had a scanner, but heres a attempt to show you the R&C magazine the car was in. Sept. 1967was the issue. The reason I remember this car is that it says it has a aluminum reskinned roof. That makes this a unusual custom, along with the fact you dont hardly see chopped 63-64 Chevys. It looks like it was state of the art at the time. Love the way it sits. :D

Maybe it only has one head light cause they are so hard to find?!?!?

That show board looks like some thing I would have made in the 4th grade, except I could spell!

Kind of on the fence about this car until I see some color photos... It would REALLY have to be the right color....

The first picture appears to be at Cobo Hall in Detroit. Wasn't the car built by the Alexander Brothers?

On the R&C cover that Cory posted you can see it clearly says "Winner-Detroit Autorama".

I'm glad ya'll liked it. Creative Customs in Chicago built it, but I can't find any info on them.

  10. Nope, George Busti's Creative Customs built it

There is room in the traditional custom world for asymetrical car styling, its about the only thing that hasnt been exploited yet. Its time to do it. :D

My brother Chuck Bertrand worked for George starting in 1964. Grand Prix Goldfinger was Chuck's car. We both drove it alot. We lived near city airport. Appreciate any info on Goldfinger.

    Thanks
