I always wondered why people steal custom cars and famous paintings. I'm not sure what the point is in possessing (not owning) something you have to hide from everyone? If it truly is some drug lord or something, why bother? You could buy anything with that kind of dough. I think the trucks and trailers are probably the real targets. Still, terribly shitty.

 

What is going on in that area of CA. That sucks ass.

 

As someone already said "maybe they wanted the truck/trailer and were not aware of its contents" ...... so why not some pics of them both ?? That theory has as much goin' for it as a drug baron.

Sorry to hear about this i will do my best to help spread the word from our side of the world.
Hopefully a quick outcome and return of the vehicle can happen.
It would have to be one of the worst thing a rod owner/builder could ever imagine i had one of my vehicles taken about ten years ago as much as i have searched nothing has turned up i know its still out there hidden away but one day i someone will say the wrong word and it will lead me to my car.

they just switch plates with some simular truck, and then hit the road to somewhere. by now, the truck is over the border, the trailer painted and they are happy with what they found. it sucks, hopefully someone finds it!!!!

 

the truck should most definitely have on-star. even if you dont pay for it, you can call and have it turned on to get the truck located and shut down from satellite.

have you called the dealer about this yet? if you can locate the truck the trailer/car might be near it...if not maybe they can catch someone in the act and get a lead on it.

That really sucks! The facts are there is a ready market for vehicles like that in the Arab world! They have unlimited funds and no scruples at all.
I had a motorcyle stolen in 2001. A friend who is a cop told me that many
vehicles are tracked to europe, where the trail vanishes. There is a person in this area who buys vintage cars and bikes at whatever cost he must pay. These are then sent to dubai (spelling?)by a private aircraft sent to
retrieve them for the new owners. The buyer claims this is a ligit business,
but I think you can see the potential for crime here. I know this seems far fetched but it does happen!

 

These car theives are getting ridiculous. Hope they recover it.
