When a car like this gets stolen it has limited options. First it can be parted out and thats a very riskey situation and this car can most likely be identified by color or type of parts. It can be put in a container and shiped over seas and last but not least head to Mexico when it will never be seen again and used as it by some shit head cartel.

Ditto on that. We could make the theif "BRANCH MANAGER' , so all his vermin pals could see what the penalty will be

  3. Most likely stolen for the truck and trailer. Thieves probably didn't even have a clue what was inside.

Here is hoping it gets recovered safe & sound. The thieves might have been after the truck & trailer & not realize what was in the trailer. Eyes open north of the border in southern ontario.

And to the folks asking about onstar, if it was pro thieves that stole it, the first thing they would do is rip the little antenna off rendering the onstar useless. Factory security systems are crap & easily bypassed in most cases. You are far better off with an owner installed kill switch or ignition bypass - most thieves will not want to waste the time to search for the way to be able to start the car.

Isn't this the 3rd car this year to be stolen out of Burbank this past couple of months? That sucks!!! I re-posted this on my Facebook page.

i'm volunteering to enlist in the revenge posse.

in the words of Abraham Lincoln, "I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming."

hope you get it back and activate the posse...

    Keeping at the top.

When will people in this country decide that thieves should be put in a desert surrounded by barbed wire, and left to live together under a tarp for 20 years first offense?

Why do our laws make being a thief okay?
Thieves should shiver in the morning, and be scared to leave their houses or whatever hole they come out of.

If I see them with the car, I will call you and tell you where the bodies are buried.

How can someone think they will get away with stealing a car that is so recognizable?
Might be an episode on America's Dumbest Crooks.

I'm a liberal and I fully support hanging the thief from the nearest tree.

    so what have we learned?
1> getting your stuff stolen sucks!
2> you can never be too careful.
3> invest in theft deterrents and recovery technology.
    4> LOTS of GREAT insurance.

Hope the guys get their stuff back.

I worked for Troy when the rad rides 37 was stolen. That time the thieves were after truck and trailers. Sitting next to trepainers dually was another truck that was loaded with farm stuff and it got stolen as well. Could be a similar situation where the thieves had no idea what was in the box. They just got lucky. I know the extreme measures taken to find the rad rides stuff immediatly. Car and trailer were never seen against other then emails with pictures of the car from the thieves wanting money for the car. Bad deal!

Hopefully this great car can be found quickly. Its a shame people do this crap! Hopefully we hear some good news about the car.

If you got a car you want to keep and especially if it is a high buck car get a Lojack or some other theft recovery electronic devise. HOTRODHOTLINE.COM has ad for a limited time offer of a Lojack that is decently priced. Always nice to get your stuff back and a crook go to jail.
