Thanks! I just started some winter projects on it. Hopefuly this spring it will hit the streets with even more mojo.
Looks damn good Jason!! I like seeing the before and after pics. Are you going to do any striping on the exterior?
We are going to put backing on the serapes and attach them like GM did on the original cover. So it doesn't move around and sag. Then sew the white tassels on the edges to keep "the look". Lots and lots. Hopefuly soon. H.A.M.B. member Lowheat. Very good guy.
Very Nice work. Are those tiny hats a requirement for young stripers nowadays? Must be the "vanilla" factor with the new kids on the striping block. Oh well I have my quirks too.
Must be a regional thing, we don't do that here in Ontario either Mikey,ha,ha... Grandpa used to wear a hat like that when he went out Sunday driving!
I got my valve covers and air breather done. Also got some insulation/sound deadener put on the floorboards and inside the doors. Just need to get some carpet.
Jason, you got it goin on with that sweet truck. I love this body style with the cool roof line. My pal 2nd Chance had a sweet almost same color 64 he sold last year. You have put some cool touches on that baby, bring it to the KKOA show in Salina, would be a big hit. Love the interior striping. Thanx for sharing. ~sololobo~
