theres only mud around the inside of the turns and mostly only in one turn for those who want to play in the mud . if ya never been you should come up to the show its alot of fun and plenty of cars that stay high and dry and put on a good show. :)

Very cool..Ratfink on the ribs!! They hurt for sure tho, especially if its getting color painted in:( Have fun:D

  10. Jeff, congratulations on your cover! With early trucks its especially hard to get the proportions right and Jeff, you nailed it!
Excellent build deserving of a magazine cover!

Just got my latest issue of Canadian Hot Rods with my '27 Voodoo T and my sons '67 Acadian Canso SD on the cover. Full blown colour features on each vehicle inside also!

I guess we're all famous? eh? LOL

  11. Bitching, man. Congrats! Well deserved. That rig is very picturesque but,
me thinks it's the way you treat folks that is beginning to be rewarded.
    Well done Jeff.

Well, what can I say Jeff? Congrats would be a no brainer but this is a little more personal. Waaaaaay back in 1960 (16 years old and in the 10th grade) I conceived the scheme of someday owning a hot rod shop. My dad was stationed with the Air Force in Lincoln, Nebraska and being a customer of Speedy Bill at Speedway for the goodies of my first car (a '49 Business coupe with a flathead,2x2 intake, shaved heads, red fuel lines and plug wires and a pair of Smitty glass packs). I thought he was having WAY too much fun being involved in the high performance trade and I fancied myself following in his footsteps and possibly running him out of business by being bigger and better (the first of my many illusions of grandeur).
Having a rod business I would need a logo.......right? Well, I've always liked the '32 ford Pickup and this would be the basis of my logo. I gathered pictures and started drawing. After the dust cleared a fenderless chopped Deuce PU emerged from my pitiful attempts and an overhead view with flames coming out of lakes pipes, no hood, and shortened bed was the final version that emerged. Your truck IS the real life version of that logo. Thanks for stirring an old memory. Great minds DO think alike:cool::eek::D:D:D

Nice way to show a nice truck. Love the profile stance and 3/4 front shot. Just the way way you'd draw it.
