My Dad bought a brand new 57 Ford Del Rio Ranch Wagon back in the day. He complained about it till the day he got rid of it years later. Even though it was undercoated it rusted out and he said the engine was worn out at 20k. I wish I still had both around.

I've had it for six years, I'm not going to finish it and I'm not going to regret selling it to finish the car I've dreamed of my whole life... ;)

I've had mine for 22 years now, longest I've ever owned a car. Never been bored with it.

You'll get better results if you open a new thread on the Main Board to ask your question instead of buried 'way down here on a totally unrelated thread. Try again.

Well executed car...but I always thought they should have used the lower Impala windshield as well to lower the top some...the tall roof really looks outof place to me....

HRP loved your wagon the first time I saw, still do. So cool that it's a family piece.

Wow, a bnch of hip stuff coming up here, the black/white Comet is a beautiful trimmed wagon, HRP's 54 ranch wagon, the hardtopped Fairlane, the unreal model A Philco radio service wagon. Thanx for sharing this tin with us folks. Love it. I see why Danny may part with ol blue to finish his hartop beauty. Keep'em rollin ~Sololobo~

Great thread! I love the 2 door wagons. I've been looking for a wagon locally that I could build as a tow vehicle for my classic Airstream trailer, but haven't had any luck. I finally settled for this heavily factory optioned '72 Suburban. Not a wagon so a bit off topic, but it is a 3 door which makes it unique in my book. One door on the driver's side and 2 on the passenger side. Plans call for a lowered, raked stance, mild dechroming, big blockpower/auto, blue metallic with yellow, orange, & red flames.

Keep those pics coming guys. This thread rocks!
