I've been looking for an early Chrysler Hemi for over a year and a half and stumbled across four of them back in May, (sometimes things do find you). After months I finally got the contact info. of the owner and struck a deal. Three of them are 331s and one is a 354. I needed some motivation to throw another car together!
Are those industrial engines ? I'm thinking yes they are and as such would need some changes for road duty.
Sweet! I wouldn't mind at least one of those in my garage. I should probably get 3 of them though, to go with my 3 Nailheads and my 3 early Olds motors.
That means I must be slipping, because I think we live in the same town (If you use that handle on another website). Nice score!
I don't think we are hoarders, we just know what is cool. I scored five Flatheads this summer, about killed my little trailer getting them home. Not a bit of regret. They don't make'm any more.
You're thinking of someone else, I'm up more north. Yea it was interesting loading them onto the trailer, we had to get creative! I couldn't of done it without the help of my dad. And you're right they don't make them anymore, I had to get them out of the field. I figured this was a once in a lifetime chance to find and buy four of them at once.
A bit of an understatement huh? Kinda like hitting the lottery and winning the poker tournament in Vegas all in one day. Don't know whats available for those engines, but Bob at Hot Heads should be able to help out. I still think you should put one in that little Vdub.
Great way to have a father /son bonding moment loading 4 hemi's ,I do envey you and what a great score. Rob.
Great picture and great score. Ijust happen to know of one hemi irrigation motor stting I've been meaning to get. This week end it might just happen.
