Finally started the chop on my 51 Merc!

    Your making really good progress. I can't wait for more follow up pictures. I also have a 1951 Merc and plan on a chop this coming spring. Need to find me a 1950 back window opening for my car.

    Anything less is a girly chop ...:D

    Nice work on that chop. Even though my old 51 Merc is long gone I'm saving this thread for reference on the 48 in a couple of months.

    Chop looks great you will have to set on the floor. I cut 3 out of my wifes car and you have to really bend your head down getting in.

    ok guys...I NEED SOME HELP!!!
    The '50 back window frame i bought is tweaked outta shap due to improper bracing from the seller. I need a back glass so i can bend the frame to IT. if anybody near upstate SC has one for sale, or even just to borrow so i can finish the chop, that would be great! thanks in advance for all your help.

    the chop looks great! love the lines on it! some might tell you,you took to much out, but thats cause they are too old! keep us posted!
