LOL seems like ya already have juice brakes, just missing a few pieces is all. Take the drums off and see if the shoes are still in it. That hole at the top is for the wheel cyl. You have juice backing plates on it.

Looks like a 1937-'40 rear axle to me, which already has juice brakes on it.

One of several techs on here...
First rule: Eyeball original R&P and bearings closely. Originals if they have been kept lubed are frequently in good shape, and you may find you need little more than a good cleanup and new gaskets...note that gaskets are setu adjustments for mesh, so measure originals (likely 010") as a starting point for adjusting.
If you need repro R&P, things start getting expensive ans setup can be troublesome.

  9. OK, Pedro you are confusing the heck out of me. You are showing 3 different axles assemblies in your pictures. How many axles do you have? Show a picture of the axle you have. The first pictures shows 42-48 Banjo closed drive, the second a later 40's rear with modified tubes and open driveline. The 3rd shows some kind of race adaptation, mix of both wide five hubs (36-39) and later std 5- 5 1/2" hubs.

Show your pictures! Maybe we can help you.

The original post definitely shows a '37-'40 rear axle.

'42-'48 has a stud on the right spring mount (passenger side) for a panhard bar.

Either way, you already have juice brakes (backing plates and drums). I don't know what's on the inside, but you may need to get wheel cylinders, shoes, springs, clips, and the grease boxes that keep grease from flying off the bearings, onto the drums and shoes.

I think the open drum may be 1935. I think it is an odd but entirely usable substitute.

Can't be a 35 drum. Wide 5's did not start till 36. Geting the park brake arms will be the hard part. They are not repoped by any one.
