from the article: He’s running a 289 Ford – fully rebuilt with lots of goodies such as forged pistons, Schneider roller cam, Keystone valve covers, a Ronco Magneto, and a Man-A-Fre intake w/ 4 Rochester 2Jets on top of polished 2” spacers from Dashman. Owner built headers with Obrien Trucker caps dump into custom RLS Racing 2” exhaust with glass-packs.

    awesome ride. congrats

Thanks guys - yeah, it's a ManAFre intake... and the only one I've ever seen for a SBF. I had to run the 2" spacers to clear the magneto, but it worked out and I think it looks good with the carbs up a bit anyway.

Thanks for the kind words everybody! It means a lot to me.

Here's a couple more of the intake.... kind of wish I'd have placeed the radiator support rods up higher on the firewall, might have to redo those at some point. (It's not quite as bad as this picture makes them look)

Here's a little clip of what the intake looks like from the back in the opening of this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHCv4HbHNaY

I had to watch the video to see what the back of your car looked like, I didn't see it too much on the road.:D

    Congrats on the feature!!
