fellas here is the new family member.Craigslist find i just picked it up from the second owner about mouth ago from Springfield Tenn area, pretty country btw..The story on car is the orginal owner sold it to a dealer in Louisiana where the prev owner bought it from in the earlier 70s.The family that sold it to me states that it has less than 25k miles on the car and it does show on the odometer..dont have any documents to back it up, but it really dont matter this old car is just to dam cool man alot of chacter and whole alot soul... Some time back when somebody put seat covers on the seats to cover the mohair which was cool.It has had one repaint from what i can tell. The car has not ran in 11 years it was missing the dizzy of the motor, just put that in! belt, hoses, fuel pump put all new brakes new set plug wires dam thing runs great!!! just to cool:D.Pics below is the first drive around the block everything is right and tight and out of site:DNext step is get the stance right....and drive it!!!!hope u guys enjoy the pics......

  21. I've always favored the 1940 Ford but would love to own a great '39 like yours. Such cool features on the '39s like the cowl vent and STILL has the crank out windshield, the "smokers" venting on the side windows, and of course the floor mounted shifter. All great features that Henry "improved" upon by '40. Sweet find. Enjoy it.....Don:)

That one is truely a great old Ford. I'm all in favor of modifying any car to suit the owners tastes but that is one I would have to leave as is. Let us see what you do to it for stance.
