How about a Bob's Big Boy mailbox? In a residential suburb of Los Angeles...

 

Here's a couple I painted for a friend a few years ago. The woodgrain is painted and the canopies were airbrushed for an old weathered look.

 

Now Thats a sweet box

 

Vern Tardel has that same style flathead mail box, It looks killer. It also helps me remember where to turn in .hahaha

I carve tikis and pinstripe when I'm not out building hot rods. So, naturally.....
