It was driven from I think NJ on its mayden voyage to the jalopy showdown this year.It may not be traditional but if you get a chance to see it,its a engineering masterpiece!!

It's out of the north east side of Baltimore. Yes it's maiden voyage was to the Showdown. It was built by it's owner Pat Jr. I don't think he's on the HAMB.

  8. I like it! Weird as hell, and cool, too! I'd like to hear more on this one.

  9. Interesting truck. I've had similar thoughts for years on a Ford-based COE. I saw other pics of this truck in the Showdown thread. Looks well built even though I'm not crazy about the wheelbase.

I'd love to see it with a 5' bed.

I liked the truck as an exercise in engineering, but not of any practical use, here's a shot of the engine, some kind of a V12

    As Justyn said . . .

GMC 702 cu-in V12 - still a few kicking around - they sound great with open pipes!

I fell in love with this thing the first time I saw it. It's just strange enough to be kool. Good to see someone do something outside the norm.

My guess is that it is 42/46 Chevy COE. That is my oh so educated guess.

It drew a lot of attention at the Showdown. I thought it had two V-6s hooked together....never seen anything like it. The overall design and engineering were very interesting.I think the radiator was up front. I'd like to know more about it too.

why is it a truck? cant haul anything, pull anything, and cant jump railroad tracks in it.

I'd call it a go cart.

At least its cute in a "defying the laws of physics" way.

Im undecided on what to think. Id like to see it with a finished rear end. Some sort of bed, box truck, just something. Im intrigued by the motor at least.

Pat McNeil Jr. His Dad is an old hot rodder/drag & street racer from "back in the day." He had a garage near me in Essex, Md. He used to "tune" his '70 Pro Stock Camero running up & down Items road. Neighbors would call the cops and they would come and lecture him. Looks like Pat Jr. Gets it honest.

It reminds me of the Bill Kenz "Odd Rod" for some reason.

I didn't get to talk to Pat during set up at Jalopyrama (which is where the initial photo on this thread is from) so I unfortunately don't know much about it. I may have some more pics if anyone is interested...
