57 Belair Glass ?

How do you get the glass out of a 57 two door sedan? We have it loose but not quite sure how to get it out. Does the track unbolt somewhere?

Are you doing the door glass or the qtr glass? There are four little screws on the doorglass on the track that has to be un screwed. The vent window has to be removed also to get it out. Once the little screws are out and the vent is out of the way it should slip out the top. The rear glass will come out after you remove all the tracks and regulator. I am sure that there are other ways but thats how I do it. Tim

The vent window mechanism/glass does not have to come out to remove the door glass...the glass just has to be removed from the track (the four screws), tilted correctly and it'll come out the top.

Chevrolet never made anything that hard...
