Congrats Tyler & Cariann!!! That was a great ceremony, great reception & awesome weather. Yah, I remember when he had a full head of hair... ha ha, sometime back in the 90's.

Thank you everyone, It was a great day for the both of us.

Now the hot rod part of the story is the 55 Olds.

Cariann's parents got married in that car back in the 70's.
The car was parked in the garage in 78 and has only been pulled out and started once since then.

We convinced her dad to drive us from the church to the reception in the Olds.
I went out a week early and we started working on the car, Brakes, some exhaust work, and a carb rebuild amidst all the wedding preparations and it was running.

As me and my future father in law drove it around the block I asked him how long it has been since it left the house and he said "oh probably 35 years" as he mashed the throttle and kicked it into passing gear.

It was one of the best parts of the week, working on the car and getting to leave the church in that car.
I think he likes me because he let me take Cariann for a drive around the neighborhood by myself when we got back from NYC. Turns our his son who is big into cars hasen't been allowed to do anything more than pump the brakes to bleed them.

55 Olds 88 4dr 324 V8 Auto.

My 59 ElCamino came in handy to drag all the junk home from Philly to Chicago, I did have to wipe off all the window junk and remove the pinwheels.
